Cabacungan Senior High School established plans in the year 2014-2015. The prospected site was the portion of Hacienda Vicenta Sitio Cambagting, Brgy. Cabacungan with a total of 2 hectares. The municipality of La Castellana alloted Php 500,000.00 for the purchase of 1 hectare through the leadership of then Mayor Alberto A. Nicor Jr. With the munifecence of family Agustin, the other one hectare was given as proposed donation.

Right after the groundbreaking was the construction of Cabacungan Senior High School's 2-storey building with 6 classrooms. Fortunately, before the official opening of regular class, the senior high school building was set ready.

        Going back to the year 2014, a keen planning of the tracks to offer was made. Through the survey conducted to the students and parents, came up a consensus of most preferred courses. This results to a decision to offer Academic Track with two strands namely; Humanities and Social Sciences and General Academic Strand.

 

Year passed and enrollment increased, the need became more and more apparent. Another 2-storey building was built, and tracks offered had increased with the addition of (TVL) Technology, Vocational and Livelihood track, focusing on Computer System Servicing, (ABM) Accountancy and Business Management, and (STEM) Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The enormous expansion that Cabacungan Senior High School had udergone is a clear manifestation of the desire of Cabacungan for better education.

 

As first two batches, 2018 and 2019 were released from the almat mater, Cabacungan Senior High School is still soaring high to achieve more of excellence and quality education.
